A Pennsylvania –based company that provides products for food service, cleaning, medical and hospitality clients is locating a major new distribution hub in North Fort Worth.
AmerCare Royal’s new distribution center will be the Speedway Logistics Crossing business park located in Denton County near the Texas Motor Speedway.
AmerCare Royal is leasing almost 400,000 square feet in the property at 2401 Petty Place, according to filings with the state.
The big industrial lease is the second major distribution deal signed in the new business park, which is owned by Indianapolis-based Scannell Properties.
AmerCare Royal was created in 2016 with the merger of AmerCare LLC and Royal Paper Products.
The company sells more than 6,000 disposable products – everything from plastic cutlery to latex gloves and bathroom towels and wipes.
AmerCare Royal currently has a distribution center in Flower Mound and other shipping hubs in California, South Carolina and Pennsylvania.
The company is scheduled to occupy the new Fort Worth building before the end of the year, according to information provided to the state.
AmerCare Royal joins locomotive and mining equipment manufacturer Wabtec Corp. as tenants in the Speedway Logistics Crossing business park located off State Highway 114 and west of Interstate 35W.
The two-building, almost 800,000-square-foot Speedway Logistics Crossing has just been put up for sale. Commercial property firm JLL is marketing the buildings to investors.
The AmerCare Royal lease is just the latest big industrial building deal completed in North Texas since the pandemic. Demand for warehouse and shipping space has grown with increased e-commerce and consumer projects sales.
